What is Horizon Europe?

 

Horizon Europe is the financial instrument implementing the Innovation Union, a Europe flagship initiative aimed at securing Europe’s global competitiveness.

The European Commission tool dedicated to Start-ups, SMEs and Small-Mid Caps to accelerate the process of introducing promising innovations onto the market that:

• aims to eliminate the gap between scientific research and go-to-market;
• does not require the formation of a consortia; and
• finances labor costs, consumables, tests and certifications, depreciation, communication, dissemination activities, marketing, commercialization and scaling up.
